Policy Overview
At Aarambh Resorts, we aim to balance our commitment to guest flexibility with the necessity of maintaining operational readiness for our boutique resort. When a booking is secured, the selected rooms/villas are blocked specifically for you, and we decline other reservation requests.
All reservations made online through our portal, travel desks, or direct telephone lines are subject to the terms and timelines specified in this policy. Please review these details carefully before completing your reservation.
Refund Timelines
Refunds are determined based on how far in advance your cancellation notice is received prior to the scheduled check-in time (2:00 PM local resort time):

Note: The refund percentages apply to the full reserved villa stays. Custom promotional rates or special holiday packages marked as "Non-Refundable" at the time of reservation are strictly exempt from this schedule and will incur 100% charges upon cancellation.
No-Show Terms
In the event that a guest fails to arrive at the resort on their scheduled stay date without sending a written cancellation notice (a "No-Show"), the reservation will be marked as cancelled immediately at 11:59 PM of the check-in night.
No-Shows will be subject to a charge of 100% of the total booking value, including any supplementary charges (such as ordered dining plans or airport transfers). No refunds, stay credits, or room-category exchanges will be facilitated under any circumstances for No-Shows.
Group & Events Policy
Cancellation schedules differ for large group bookings (defined as 3 or more villas reserved simultaneously) and specialized events (such as marriages, banquets, or corporate retreats):
- Group Cancellations: Free cancellation is only available up to 30 days prior to check-in. Cancellations between 15-30 days will incur a 50% charge. No refunds are issued within 15 days of stay.
- Peak Season Bookings: Bookings between December 15 - January 5, and national long weekends, require a 30-day cancellation notice for a refund, owing to high tourist congestion in Mukteshwar.
Force Majeure Exceptions
We recognize that certain extraordinary events are entirely outside guest control. Aarambh Resorts will offer full refund exceptions or flexible stay credits (valid for 12 months) in the event of Force Majeure circumstances. These events include:
Severe natural disasters (such as landslides blocking the Nainital-Mukteshwar state highway, major earthquakes, cloudbursts), government-ordered travel bans, or civil emergency directives. Please note that normal rain showers or flight schedule alterations by commercial airlines do not qualify for Force Majeure exceptions.
Requesting Cancellation
To cancel or modify a confirmed booking, please follow these steps:

Log in to your Aarambh account, navigate to 'My Trips', locate your booking voucher, and click the 'Request Cancellation' button.
Written Request
If booked through secondary channels, send an explicit cancellation request email to info@aarambhresorts.com containing your reservation ID.
Refund Processing
Once a cancellation is authorized and processed under this policy, the refund amount will be credited back to your original payment source (credit card, bank account, or digital wallet).
Please allow 7 to 10 banking business days for the credit reflection to appear on your bank statements, depending on banking channel clearings. All refund transactional receipts will be sent immediately to your registered email address.
